My final proposal to celebrate Street Sign Painting is to build temporary galleries that wrap around selected paintings. This will function as a community enhancer, since it would encourage people from outside the community to visit and notice the small businesses around the painting. If an art museum would get involved it will make real the idea of the museum going to the streets. This would trigger a sense of proud in the community and would break the static nature of the museum.

My last attempt produced a “too clean” symbol that did not represent Street Sign painting as I wanted. I soaked the paper model and then burned it. I wanted to embed some kind of randomness. After this process, I started analyzing what is what I like about the street paintings.
